Learn how to make fire from nothing and see how the IRON AGE Scots lived. As well as the educational guided tour and informative demonstrations the thatched roundhouse itself, built as the originals were over water gave a very interesting in-site into our distant past. The Scottish Crannog Centre may not be that well known but if you or your clients are interested in this period of history then it is definitely worth a visit if/when in the area. I feel there is a lot than maybe needs to be re-learnt.
